Getting Started

How to get started at Flatirons CrossFit.

 

Getting started at Flatirons CrossFit is simple.  Please contact us @ (303)517-7114 or Tim@flatironscrossfit.com for your first FREE one-hour introductory class.  This class will introduce you to a version of a typical Flatirons CrossFit workout and will expose you to some of the brief, high-intensity training you can expect from your future of training at Flatirons CrossFit. 

Flatirons CrossFit is the largest CrossFit program in the Boulder area. Our box is fully stocked with enough bumper plates, kettlebells, medicine balls, and other equipment to train large groups of athletes. Our program works for people of all fitness levels. We regularly train grandmothers to world class athletes. We offer six group classes a day, personal training and private coaching.  As a new member of Flatirons CrossFit, it is imperative for you to understand the movements, exercises and equipment commonly incorporated correctly and safely into a Flatirons CrossFit workout.  In order for us to help you achieve your fitness goals and the ultimate Flatirons CrossFit experience, you will be required to complete our Skills Program. 

 Our Skills Program is a six class program that will get you started with the fundamentals needed to excel in our CrossFit program. These classes are smaller than our WOD (Workout of the Day) classes and will provide you with personalized coaching to ensure you perform these exercises and use our equipment correctly and safely. We make a few exceptions to new but experienced members whom are able to perform the movements and exercises and use our equipment safely and correctly.  Our goal is to provide with you the foundation of skills you need for a successful fitness experience at Flatirons CrossFit. The Skills Program classes are offered three days a week so please check our schedule. 

Our program creates an experience that is totally different then anything you can find anywhere. We encourage you to meet other members of the Flatirons CrossFit community and have them share their training experiences with you.  We are extremely confident that the experienced shared will provide you the unquestionable proof that Flatirons CrossFit will help you attain a unique and very productive fitness experience.  We look forward to seeing you at Flatirons CrossFit!
