What kind of a workout does this to you.....during the workout?
This one
The 5:30 crew getting their ass kicked by "Fausto". I named this workout after a friend of mine who died last year in a car accident. One of the reasons I love CrossFit i because it reminds me I am alive. We some times take that for granted. You never know when your time is up on this planet. Take advantage of the time you have to live at your fullest. Someone once told me "we all have the same 24 hours in a day. What you do with it is up to you." For me working out and my health is an important part of those 24 hours. What is important in your 24 hours?

Need more wallballs. And walls....
A great tribute to a man I never met, but any friend of Tim's is a worthy fight to fight!
Glad to have Tulsa in the house too!

Interesting question. Time to think is important. Time to write, time to knit. Time to prepare and enjoy a good meal. Time to go for a walk on the creek path and watch the ducks swim in the pond. Time to say hi to people and ask them how they're doing. Time for a friend. Time to set goals and plan ahead. And of course, time for CrossFit.
I see people rush through their days, always complaining about how they don't have enough time. I get pretty annoyed with people who say they don't have time to work out, eat right, or get enough sleep. And I imagine they get pretty annoyed with me when I just shrug and don't sympathize with them or validate their excuses. But it's not like I magically have more time than they do. I just prioritize differently, and I view my time differently - as a resource to be allocated according to my own choices.
The way people allocate their time is deeply personal, reflects their values, and can affect not just themselves (e.g., their health) but also the people around them. The most heartbreaking end to a friendship is when someone won't make time for you. When someone at work won't make time to meet with you or work with you on a project, it is frustrating. Part of why I knit things for people is because it is a gift of time - hours that I have put into something so that someone knows they are important to me.
Sorry for the long post, but time is a fascinating subject to me and always gets me waxing poetic. It was the topic of my dissertation, after all!

Speaking of time, watch this short video and laugh away a few minutes!

The last clip is classic "WTF sort of functional was that supposed to be??!!"
And on another topic, I predict multiple Pukies from this awful concoction of Tim's today!
