You've been hearing about it all year. Time to get ready, it will be here soon

The Fight Gone Bad fund raiser has started. Every year the CrossFit community raises money to support Prostate Cancer research and the Wounded Warrior project. Last year the entire Crossfit community raised over $600,000, which was matched by Safeway. We teamed up with MBS CrossFit and raised almost $5000.
That was a year ago. Flatirons Crossfit has grown tremendously in the last year and this year I have set a fundraising goal of $15000. If everybody raises $150 we will have no problem reaching that goal and everyone who raises $150 or more gets a Fight Gone Bad t-shirt. These are great causes. FGB is a great workout and get together. Top fund raisers can earn prizes through CrossFit.
To sign up go to the Team Flatirons CrossFit page and create a personal fundraising page and email it to all your friends and family. They can contribute money online. There is plenty of time to reach our goal so sign-up today and get started.
The workout will take place on September 26th and as of this time it will be at Flatirons CrossFit.
I hope everyone takes part in this event.

Handstand push-ups in gravel and then a terrible Mark WOD. Mark is getting really good at dreaming up these WODs. If he and Tim worked together to come up with a Saturday challenge workout, we would all be puking for sure. Lets hope they dont combine forces...Well miss you Rosanne and Taylor! Have a fun vacation!

Testimonials

  • Thank you for allowing me to train with you this summer. Being a football player at a Division 1 level I obviously want the best workout available to increase my performance. I have been doing conventional weightlifting for since I can remember and recently have not felt like it was increasing my performance as it should. Coming to Crossfit has been amazing. The high intensity workouts have made me more mentally tough, physically stronger, and able to endure more. Thank you for bringing me in, I believe in Crossfit all the way.

My daughter and I started Crossfit 1 month ago, I already feel an increased sense of strength. I've always been physically active, growing up as a competitive gymnast and lately an avid runner. Tim's ability to push me through the mental and physical boundaries of each and every Crossfit class is incredible. I have also been participating in the Kettlebell program and Tim has made it constantly challenging, exhausting and exhilarating all at the same time. I love the fact that he is always on the lookout for proper form and is quick to correct you if need be. He continues to push us to work hard, use good form, and never forgetting to tell us that we are doing a good job. Thanks for the motivation, support and the extremely challenging workouts.
