Retarded!

WOD: 24:19 with 75# and push-ups instead of ring dips. Forgot how much harder heavy hang cleans are than from-the-floor cleans. So easy to overthink.Go Jim on your pull-ups! And Fraser, you got praised today! You deserved it, nice lift!About posting - Im sorry about threatening that kitten. But I really like when people post their reactions to the workout. I dont care about the times, but its nice to see what people thought of the WOD or to see people called out for doing a good job or getting a goal or new skill. Its also nice to hear from people at the 6AM or the 5:30 classes who I dont see much.

Agreed, Amy, on the posting and being in on what people are doing. Thanks for holding the beacon for us all!Terrible WOD today, just terrible. If I could actually master a muscle-up (which would entail mastering my kip, which apparently I still havent)! then the WOD would have been more fun. I did it in 13 something, I think, with 4 ring dips and the rest push-ups

Thanks Amy.2nd WOD with no bands assisting me in the pullups. It was also demonstrated in a slow time. 24:29. Felt good to be without the band though. Ring dips suck. Did 5 and the rest were pushups. This one hurt (more than usual). Felt like it needs a name.

WOD 11:50ish substituting 7 muscle ups for the pull-ups and ring dips. Definitely a quicker way of finishing the WOD, but not necessarily easier.....Sid is sick doing it in like 8+ a little change!

Testimonials

  • Thank you for allowing me to train with you this summer. Being a football player at a Division 1 level I obviously want the best workout available to increase my performance. I have been doing conventional weightlifting for since I can remember and recently have not felt like it was increasing my performance as it should. Coming to Crossfit has been amazing. The high intensity workouts have made me more mentally tough, physically stronger, and able to endure more. Thank you for bringing me in, I believe in Crossfit all the way.

My daughter and I started Crossfit 1 month ago, I already feel an increased sense of strength. I've always been physically active, growing up as a competitive gymnast and lately an avid runner. Tim's ability to push me through the mental and physical boundaries of each and every Crossfit class is incredible. I have also been participating in the Kettlebell program and Tim has made it constantly challenging, exhausting and exhilarating all at the same time. I love the fact that he is always on the lookout for proper form and is quick to correct you if need be. He continues to push us to work hard, use good form, and never forgetting to tell us that we are doing a good job. Thanks for the motivation, support and the extremely challenging workouts.
